Please join the Foreign Policy Association, UNITAR and the Permanent Mission of Italy to the United Nations for a roundtable discussion on Security Council reform. We will be joined by Volkan Bozkır: Ambassador and President of the UN 75th General Assembly; Hasmik Egian: Former Chief of staff in the Office of the UN Special Envoy for Syria and Former Director of the UN’s Security Council Affairs Department; Solomon Derrso: founding Director of Amani Africa Media and Research Services; Addis Ababa based Pan-African policy research and Michael Doyle, Professor at Columbia University and former member of the UN Secretary-General’s Office. The discussion will be moderated by Stephen C. Schlesinger author of Act of Creation: The Founding of the United Nations.
