We are a member-led group, exchanging knowledge, insights, and concerns through in-depth discussions, presentations and videos. On occasion, we invite outside speakers such as such as Ambassador Dennis Jett and Kim Aris, the younger son of Aung San Suu Kyi.
Meeting schedule for 2026: January 26, March 2 (for February), March 23, April 20, May 11, June 22, July 10, August 24, September 21, October 19, November 16, and December 14 (annual business meeting/social event).
In addition, we have informal"meet-ups" at the Library to follow up on our formal discussions and address a wider range of subjects. This also allows members and interested members of the community the opportunity for longer conversations in a relaxed, informal setting. Meet-ups are normally held on the Monday morning one week after the formal meetings.
Visitors are welcome to meetings and meet-ups on a space available basis. To reserve a seat, visitors are requested to contact Group Leader Charles Blum via e-mail.
