The Foreign Policy Association is delighted to invite you to join our partner World Affairs Council of Dallas Fort Worth on October 20th at 5:00 PM EST for a moderated conversation with Ambassador Wendy Sherman, Director of the Center for Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School.  Ambassador Sherman will speak on her latest book: Not for the Faint of Heart: Lessons in Courage, Power & Persistence. 

 

Ambassador Sherman is a professor of public leadership and director at the Harvard Kennedy School and Senior Fellow at Harvard’s Belfer Center. She is a Senior Counselor at Albright Stonebridge Group. Sherman is the former Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs and served at the State Department in varying capacities under Presidents Clinton and Obama, including North Korea Policy Coordinator and chief nuclear negotiator with Iran. She was awarded the National Security Medal by President Obama. Sherman holds a M.S.W. from the University of Maryland and a B.A. from Boston University.
