The Foreign Policy Association (FPA) will host The Honorable Perrin Beatty, President and CEO, Canadian Chamber of Commerce, and, Thomas J. Donohue, President and CEO, United States Chamber of Commerce, at this year’s annual corporate dinner.  The dinner will take place at the St. Regis Hotel, 2 E. 55th Street, New York, NY, on Tuesday, December 12th, 2017.  Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m.

 

Thomas J. Donohue and The Honorable Perrin Beatty will discuss the ongoing negotiations on the modernization of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), as well as the role of international trade in the U.S.-Canadian relationship.  This moderated discussion comes at a critical point in the negotiations, and will offer a unique opportunity to hear the perspectives of highly-respected business leaders who have deep knowledge of the opportunities and challenges associated with the modernization of NAFTA. 

 

At this year’s dinner, the Foreign Policy Association will honor Dr. Lucio Caputo, President, Gruppo Esponenti Italiana (GEI), and Dennis E. Abboud, President, Readerlink LLC. Dr. Lucio Caputo will receive the Foreign Policy Association Medal, and Dennis E. Abboud will receive the Foreign Policy Association’s Corporate Social Responsibility Award.
