Celeste Headle (WNYC, Host/Correspondent) Ms. Celeste Headlee has recently closed a successful chapter in her career as the co-host of The Takeaway. Previously, she was the Midwest Correspondent for NPR’s Day to Day, covering everything from the auto industry to art, the 2008 presidential election to toilet smuggling.

L. Gordon Flake (Mansfield Foundation, Executive Director) A leading figure in North Korea related issues, Mr. Gordon Flake was previously a Senior Fellow and Associate Director of the Program on Conflict Resolution at The Atlantic Council of the United States and prior to that Director for Research and Academic Affairs at the Korea Economic Institute of America. He has authored numerous book chapters on policy issues in Asia and is a regular contributor to the U.S. and Asian press. Mr. Flake has also traveled to North Korea numerous times.
Nathaniel Kretchun (InterMedia, Associate Director) As a member the East Asia team at InterMedia, Mr. Nathaniel Kretchun manages quantitative and qualitative research projects in North Korea, Cambodia and with Uyghur populations in China. Mr. Kretchun recently published the report A Quiet Opening: North Koreans in a Changing Media Environment.
Lucas Dixon (Google Ideas, Engineering Lead) Dr. Lucas Dixon led the development of the network visualisation tool that was used by Al Jazeera to track defections in the Syrian regime. Dr. Dixon was also the co-lead on the “Technology and North Korea” Lab at Google Idea’s INFO summit (on illicit networks) as well as playing an advisory tole to LiNK and NKIS on the role of technology in North Korea.
