I mentioned this movie back in November here and thought it looked as if it were a great flick. I finally saw it last night on PBS and it was better than I thought it was going to be! It is fluent, fluid, funny, poignant, smart, hugely informative, and dead on the money in its analyses. It gives great play to superstars like Vandana Shiva, Wangari Maathai, and Andy Lipkis.
I had one small regret: Although they give great insight into compost – a critical component of organic farming and gardening – they neglect biochar. You know how I love biochar.
No matter. It’s a truly important story, told beautifully. Go to their website. Better yet, see the movie. Get Certified Dirtified.
